What the Christ Can do For Us

In this article I will comment about the words of Lord Lanto:

« For the Christ mind, there is no highest possible outcome. There is just a certain scale where there could be a lower and a higher outcome, and the Christ always seeks to help people reach the highest possible, given the situation, the interdependent originations of the situation. »[1]

On Earth, at least in the Western world, we are accustomed to seeking the 'truth', as if an absolute standard of truth could be defined in our world that could serve as a measure by which we and others could be judged when arguing or making statements.

This is understandable for all people between the 48th level of consciousness (or lower) and the 96th level. Why? Because at these levels, we identify with our egos, and the ego—the separate self—is obsessed with control.

It is also obsessed with security in the world of form; it must ensure that it will never be proven wrong, nor caught in a situation where someone else can point the finger and say, 'You are mistaken'.

All of us between these levels of consciousness have, of course, spent a long time building our identities in a dualistic state of mind that has been our natural state since ancient times.

Each of us has, of course, spent a long time building our identities within these levels of consciousness, in a state of duality that has become our natural state of mind and being since time immemorial.

It is so distant that we have forgotten that entering and remaining in duality for a long time was a choice we made.

After a while, our divine spark — the 'conscious you' — identified with the separate self and started to believe that it is indeed a mortal being and that the separate self projected in this world of form is all that it can be.

From this state of mind, we began to accept not only that there are polarities in every circumstance in this world, but also that one polarity is good, positive and desirable, while the other polarity, as its opposite, is bad, negative and undesirable.

The emergence of the value judgements that our Masters remarked on at a recent conference had this tremendous effect of causing strong anxiety: 'Or if I am wrong, or if there is something wrong not only with my choice, but with me too?!'

This unbearable feeling is at the origin of the serpentine mind, where we use our reasoning abilities to argue in our favour and turn any situation against some other cause so that it is not us.

We are all imbued with this mentality, and we cannot get rid of it overnight because it is deeply rooted in the subconscious of each and every one of us.

So, what have we been doing to hide our anguish at the possibility of being proven wrong in any situation? How can we prevent someone with better argumentative skills from putting us down as flawed beings who are 'absolutely wrong'?

We have been looking for absolute standards of 'true and false', 'right and wrong', and 'good and evil'.

But where can we find such standards? Certainly not in the Christ mind, because, as Lord Lanto explains, we cannot find a single cause for anything on earth.

This is because all life is interconnected. As Buddha taught 25 centuries ago and still teaches now as one of our Ascended Masters, there are no separate beings anywhere.

There is an immense web of life not only on our planet, but also connecting all beings in our universe. But that's not all: the various spheres of the universe, of which ours is the seventh, are also connected to the Creator.

Therefore, it is beyond our ability to grasp the vast interplay of 'causes' that generate this or that effect on Earth.

So, does this mean that there is no 'Christ's truth'? No, it doesn’t, but the truth of Christ is never absolute. As Lord Lanto explains, it is a dynamic involving a context or situation and the parameters of that situation:

«(…) It looks for how to take a particular situation with the interdependent parameters of that situation and raise it to the next level up»[2].

In every situation, we must surrender to the Christ mind and receive spontaneous intuition about the best outcome.

This intuition does not come from the analytical mind, which compares and reasons according to dualistic standards. We receive it by surrendering to the situation and opening ourselves to the Christ mind, which helps us to see the best solution for the situation. I can assure you that you will recognise this instantaneous vision when it occurs in a single moment.

We don't reason to get the Christ vision for anything. We just open ourselves up, and if the matter is important, I can tell you from experience that you will receive it.

Will we always receive the Christ vision about everything?

I don't know, but I do know that we will receive a higher vision whenever we need it to help us grow in awareness. The Christ vision appears whenever we need it to help us progress to the next level of understanding, provided we are open to it.

However, the Christ does not tell us what to do; it only shows us the higher perspective or choice. Whether we take it is up to us.
