The Spiritual Experiential Path- Making Choices and Evaluating Them

In this article I am discussing a statement of Lord Lanto in a recent conference[1]:

The creator created an experimental world. What drives a non- ascended world is experimentation»[2]

We Descend to Earth with a Point-like of Consciousness

Lord Lanto explained that every being- including the creator itself- begins its life in a world a form with just a point-like of consciousness and grows from there.

Therefore, the Creator does not create a 'perfect and finished world'; it creates a world in which newly created beings have a role to play in creation as co-creators.

If the creator wants to create free beings, this is the only option: creating a finished world would not be compatible with this, as free beings would not be able to make any choices and would only have the options previously defined by the creator.

Our Masters tell us that this is not what happens in creation.

Consequently, we are born as free beings without a great breadth of awareness. Some may feel indignant at this point and blame the creator, asking how anyone can discern their errors in this way.

But, in fact, it is only the dualistic consciousness that evaluates experiences, looking for errors or mistakes and defining experiences as good or bad, true or false. In the Christ mind, there are only experiences.

The only judgement is our own evaluation of our experiences.

This is one of the meanings of Lord Lanto's words that I quoted above: 'Earth is not an absolute or definitive "reality"; it is an experimental device', as our Masters have called it.

As such, neither the Creator nor our Masters evaluate our experiences in terms of right or wrong. Instead, they evaluate our experiences based on our growth in awareness.

The experiences themselves are neutral. What matters is how we live them, how we evaluate them, and the wisdom we extract from them.

We are on Earth to experiment, and at first glance, there are no forbidden experiences.

However, we know that some choices can be destructive to ourselves and to other beings. If they go against the very principles of life, we should consider not choosing them, because we will not grow from them.

Our freedom cannot be defined as 'the possibility of choosing any option, even if it goes against other beings' right to be free, or denies them freedom'.

The reason for this is as follows: Although the ego sees itself as separate, we are all part of the immense web of life.

The Path is a Process of Making Choices and Evaluating the Results

As the Masters explained, we are free to choose whichever option we wish, even if it goes against the Creator's laws.

However, if we choose an option that goes against the Creator's laws, we cannot do so forever. Furthermore, we must learn from experience that such choices are not constructive for ourselves.

The Creator has created several mechanisms to prevent beings from becoming lost forever in the illusion of separation.

One of these mechanisms is the law of karma. From my perspective, the law of karma has the overall purpose of showing us that if we make choices that harm other parts of life, we are, in fact, harming ourselves.

However, karma is not a punitive law, as evidenced by the 'delay factor' in its return: we have time to learn from our experiences why harming other parts of life is not constructive.

Mother Mary told us that karma usually only returns after one or more lifetimes. Why? To give us the opportunity to transcend the mindset that produces karmic results.

In my view, the Creator's design for the universe is merciful and compassionate: we enter the world of form with a limited level of awareness, and the purpose of this is so that we can learn from our experiences.

As co-creators, we make choices, applying the first ray of power and creativity.

After the experience, we use the second ray of wisdom to evaluate it: 'Do I want more of this experience, or something different?'

As we grow in awareness, we tap into the different rays of the Christ light. This growth in awareness continues until, eventually, we reach the level of consciousness of the Creator.

I can see the beauty and, most importantly, the love of our Creator in the gift of life, which allows us to freely choose who we want to be.
