The Role of the Father Element of Christ

In this article I will write about the role of the father element of Christ. I am following Master St Germain’s discourse[1].

As Mother Mary explained, Christ is born in us as a child; therefore, it needs a 'father and a mother'. But who can fulfil these roles? We do.

However, it is important to note that it is not the ego or outer personality that can fulfil this role; the 'father' is not the ego, but the 'I am' presence. Likewise, the 'mother' is also us.

Master St Germain says: « For where is the kingdom of God? Within you.(…) Within You, the Conscious You. What is within the Conscious You? The I AM Presence.»[2]

The 'I am' presence is the father element, and the 'conscious you' is the mother element.

We must be aware that we are all still in the world of form and will have remnants of the ego until we leave Earth.

Therefore, we need to connect with the 'I am' presence, which can provide a neutral perspective in every situation and discipline the expression of the Christ within us.

This is necessary because the Christ consciousness wants to express itself through us; however, the ego also has desires, and when we are on the spiritual path, the ego wants to use the Christ consciousness to attain its most desired goals in this world.

This can be different for each of us: from wanting to manifest special powers like Master Jesus did 2,000 years ago, to wanting to be recognised as a special, advanced being; wanting to attain absolute knowledge or 'truth' that no one can deny; or anything else you can think of.

The thing is, the ego can control the Christ in us when we identify with it and its desires. It can project all kinds of conditions onto the Christ, such as those from our culture or the fields of knowledge in which we have been 'experts', and so on.

However, our I Am Presence has much more comprehensive knowledge of any situation than any perspective of the ego. Therefore, it is the only thing that can 'discipline' the Christ.

For this to be possible, the ‘conscious you’ must identify with the presence. There is no other way.

When we allow the ego to control how we express Christ, Christ consciousness cannot manifest through us because the spirit does not submit to matter.

The Christ Never Express an Absolute Truth

As we begin to embody Christ in our daily lives, we realise that Christ does not give us absolute truth or exceptional powers. These desires originate from the ego.

Christ is a continuous process of self-transcendence and growth. He does this in every particular situation we find ourselves in at any given moment.

As Master St. Germain says, the Christ gives us that 'little bit' more that allows us to see further than we could before, enabling us to grow to the next step.

As our Masters have told us many times, and as is written in this book, it has never happened before and it will never happen in the future to become the full Christ in one step.

One good reason for this is that there is no such thing as a 'full Christ', in the sense that everything Christ could be will be attained. There is no final state for Christ.

Not even the Creator has reached such a state. Do you want to be Christ? If so, you must strive at all times to become more and transcend yourself.

The moment you think, 'OK, I am everything the Christ can be', you stop growing and you are no longer in Christ consciousness.

On Earth, a dense planet, it is understandable that people think or aspire to an ultimate state of being and consciousness, where they can rest from the struggle.

But you see, living in the material world is only the beginning - the first step-   for any newly created being on their journey to another level of experience in the spiritual realm.

The ego, on the other hand, is in a constant state of struggle and may become weary of it. However, the ego is not in Christ consciousness; it is in duality consciousness, which is antagonistic by nature.

This struggle does not exist in the oneness of the Christ mind.

If we want to leave duality behind and become the living Christ, we must ask ourselves if we are willing to do so.

Because when we do, we can become the open door, the chalice that can receive the ideas that Master St. Germain and the other masters want to give to humanity.

This requires a change in our sense of identity - from the ego to the Christ consciousness. As Master St. Germain remarks, we are the father and mother of Christ. Or we can be.
