The Initiations of the Third Level of Wisdom

In this article, I will write about the initiations of the third level of wisdom. I am following Lord Lanto’s teachings.

These initiations have two dimensions: those concerning our sense of identity, and the way we relate to others — especially those we believe we love.

Overcoming the Ego's Need to Control: The Self's Initiations

How do we choose to see ourselves? Do we choose to identify with the ego, building a sense of identity as a separate being and trying to control our environment and those we are close to?

Or are we going to let go of this external sense of identity and reconnect with our spiritual source of divine love? After all, we can only experience wisdom through love, not through the intellect of the ego.

Of course, we have identified with the ego for a long time, so disconnecting from it will be challenging.

The first obstacle we face is the ego's need for control: it seeks to control our sense of identity, as well as our thoughts and feelings. This causes us to imprison ourselves in a mental box of dualistic beliefs created on Earth.

When we see ourselves through the ego, we are also unable to relate to others with unconditional love.

The ego tries to keep the people it 'loves' under control by acting with force to make others conform to our ideas about 'what is best for them', because it convinces us that we know better than anyone else and have the right to decide how others should live their lives.

The ego feels that it owns the people it loves and justifies forcing them to change to become how we want them to be.

However, to pass the initiations of the third level of wisdom, we must recognise the ego's desire for control and let go of the compulsion to change the world and others against their will.

We must let go of our need to possess other people and anything else we feel compelled to have ownership of. We must fully accept other people's free will.

As Lord Lanto says« God did not entitle us to choose for others how their freedom should be used».

We need to love something more than our egos: the initiations of love.

In order to pass the third level of initiation, we must experience wisdom in connection with unconditional love, which transcends any human expression of love that is always subject to certain conditions.

The only prerequisite for expressing love is our connection to our I Am Presence, the source of love within us.

We must accept that we love our 'I am' presence more than our ego and external, mortal identity. We must surrender our ego and open ourselves to our 'I am' presence, the source of divine love within us.

Therefore, we need to reconnect with our 'conscious you' and love our 'I am Presence' more than we love the ego created in this world, so that we can experience unconditional love.

Unconditional love is not given to others 'at a price': it is completely free and without judgement.

Wisdom is the ability to recognise the interconnectedness of all life, which Lord Lanto refers to as 'the Buddha Nature', and which is beyond the reach of the ego.

We cannot ‘understand’ the ‘Buddha Nature’ because it is not an intellectual concept. Until we seek the meaning of the Buddha Nature, we won't experience it.

Buddha Nature transcends all judgement; it is the experience of the connection of all life through love

As Lord Lanto says, this is the main purpose for coming to earth : to be the open door for the unconditional love of our creator for all life it created.

The Buddha Nature is this communion experience, in which we feel the deep links between all parts of life, and realise how flawed the ego's arguments and reasoning are, as they will never be able to connect to life.

Wisdom, which comes from the Christ mind, is another expression of unconditional love. At these initiations, this is one of the experiences we can have if we pass the initiations of wisdom and love.
