The Demonstration of the Incarnation of Christ

In this article, I will begin by commenting on the words of Master Gautama:« For free will to outplay itself, people must be allowed to go into duality.(…) the consequence of going into duality is that there is a clock that starts ticking. At some point, that clock is going to run out.»[1]
The 96th Level Initiation and Incarnation of Christ
Initiation at the 96th level is a very important milestone on the spiritual path because it marks the beginning of transcending the sense of a separate identity.
It is only at this point that we consciously and freely choose to accept and pursue our spiritual development, not just as human beings perfecting their moral standards created on Earth, but as spiritual beings incarnated on Earth.
As Master Gautama says, we all need to experience duality in order to experiment with freedom in the world of form. This is not a sin, mistake or error; it is the natural course of the incarnation process.
This is why, at the first level of incarnation — the 144th level — a self that sees itself as separate from the I Am Presence — though not disconnected from it — is created.
If we could only see one possibility in all aspects of life, we would never be aware of our freedom.
The awareness of being free is an essential aspect of our lives as spiritual beings. This is why, at the beginning, we immerse ourselves in the world of form. We are not left alone to experiment with freedom; we receive guidance from an ascended teacher.
However, when a student hides from their teacher, as Master Maitreya taught us[2] happened with people on Earth, the Master must respect free will and withdraw.
The Catch 22 Created by People on Earth
Without the guidance of a spiritual teacher, we create a trap for ourselves. After identifying with our outer sense of identity, we forget that we are spiritual beings, not mortal ones, and try to attain salvation through some sort of external path.
We are spiritual beings who came to Earth to experiment with freedom. After experiencing what we wanted, we awaken to our true identity as spiritual beings.
As spiritual beings, we are not products of matter; we are created in the spiritual realm and incarnate temporarily on Earth to experiment with freedom, creating our Omega aspect of identity through Christ consciousness.
Duality Cannot Become a Permanent State of Consciousness
As Master Gautama says, when someone enters a state of duality, 'a clock starts ticking'. This means that no one can remain in this state indefinitely.
It is at this point that the incarnation of Christ becomes more significant: people who have been in a state of extreme duality for a long time have completely forgotten that they are more than their separate sense of identity , so they need to be shown an example:
The example of a higher level of consciousness beyond duality. You may ask how they can see this if they are totally immersed in duality.
Well, this is not entirely accurate, which is why people can face the second death judgement: the ‘conscious you’ can perceive reality beyond the separate, dualistic sense of identity.
The conscious you cannot become 'totally separate from the oneness of the Christ mind' because it came from Spirit and was created as Spirit.
Therefore, as the pure awareness of the 'I am' presence, the 'conscious you' never loses the ability to jump out of the filter of the separate sense of identity. Remaining in duality is a choice, made by the conscious you.
Therefore, when someone incarnates the Christ consciousness — after reaching the 96th level of consciousness — it provides an opportunity for everyone who encounters them to realise that there is an alternative to duality consciousness.
Without the incarnation of Christ on earth, people lost in the illusions of duality would have no example to show them that there is an alternative to the state of dualistic consciousness.
As Master Gautama says, this demonstration can be given in different ways. For instance, it can be done by example, acting with others from the perspective of the Christ mind instead of comparing, judging, dividing and conflicting as the ego usually does.
It can also be done in a more formal way of teaching. Ultimately, however, we simply demonstrate the expression of Christ consciousness through our way of being and acting.
