In this article, I discuss the bottom 10%, the top 10% and the middle 80% of the global population, examining how they interact with each other and the impact they have on the fate of the Earth.

This subject relates to the previous post, 'Earth is in an upward spiral', and contributes to the discussion by examining the role of different parts of the global population.

I keep following Mother Mary’s book [1].

The 80% of People on a Planet Determine its Fate

Mother Mary says: « (…)any society will be a reflection of the consciousness of the 80% of the general population.»[2]

The 80% of people on a planet are « the people who have not yet developed a strong individuality. They are therefore more likely to follow along with whatever trends are currently dominating the mass consciousness.[3]

Why should they be able to determine the fate of a planet? Well, because they make up the majority of the population. They can follow the top 10% or the bottom 10% because, as Mother Mary says, they haven’t developed their individuality enough, so they are ‘followers’, not leaders.

If they follow the top 10% of the population, they will raise the collective consciousness and elevate themselves; if they follow the bottom 10% instead, they will impede their own growth and prevent the planet from advancing with the general upward movement of the universe.

However, as Mother Mary clarifies, this is not something that can be done forever.

Let's examine how the top and bottom 10% change this equation:

The Bottom 10%: « So do you see that this is the overall characteristic of the bottom 10%? They are extremely aggressive in promoting their self-interest, even the self-interest that is camouflaged as a greater cause. And in order to do this, they are willing to violate one of the basic laws that govern human behavior, as expressed in the unconditional command “Thou shalt not kill.»[4]

If 80% of a planet's population choose to follow the bottom 10%, the result will be stunted growth and increased suffering for the population.

The top 10% :« if you look to the top 10%, you will see that these are people who in many cases have virtually no self-interest left. They are completely focused on actually serving a greater cause, and they have also realized that this greater cause cannot be defined in a dualistic manner. »  [5]

If the majority of the population chooses to follow the top 10%, there will be a general increase in collective consciousness, and people will prosper.

Mother Mary is clear that the decisive factor in what can happen to a planet, for better or worse, is the 80% of people:

« You may have a strong aggressive leader, like Adolph Hitler, but he would not have been able to pull Germany into a major war unless the 80% of the German population had been willing to support it. Likewise, you may have a strong creative leader such as Gandhi, but he still would not have been able to prevent India from erupting into violence if the 80% of the population had not been at a certain level of awareness, where they were willing to look for non-violent solutions. »[6]

So, what can we do when faced with this scenario? We already know that force is not the answer: people don’t change their consciousness through force, and we don’t want to do this anyway because we must respect free will — ours and others'. Force is a strategy of dualistic consciousness.

However, we don’t need to feel paralysed either because, as spiritual beings, we can help raise the collective consciousness. As Master Jesus recently said, one person with a high level of consciousness exerts a powerful influence on the collective consciousness, raising it.

Mother Mary reinforces the same idea: «And you must therefore realize that whereas you alone cannot change society, there is indeed something you can do to bring about such change. For when you raise your own consciousness, you will indeed add to the magnetic pull that will pull up on the 80% of the population» [7].

This should help us overcome our pessimism about current global conditions. We are not helpless; we can play our part by raising our awareness as much as possible, without allowing the outer self to trap us in its illusory feelings of helplessness.

Instead, we reject the idea that we are powerless to effect change. We are spiritual beings striving to grow, and in doing so, we are raising the collective consciousness on Earth. We are helping to elevate the consciousness of the majority (80%) and diminishing the allure of the minority (10%).
