Making a Difference in a Turbulent World

This article focuses on Mother Mary’s speech at the most recent conference[1] .

I will now read a passage from my notes on the discourse: 'In order to make a difference in a turbulent world, it is necessary to increase the light so that the shadows become more visible.'

As spiritual students, it is our responsibility to play a part in increasing spiritual light on Earth. In this 12-year cycle, our task is to become the nexus between the spiritual realm, the Masters, our I Am Presence, and the physical world.

'We must focus on the light, becoming the nexus of the figure eight for the light.' The light always comes from the east and flows westward with us, forming the nexus.»[2]

We Can Only be the Nexus in the figure 8 Flow When we are Neutral

How can we become «neutral» in the spiritual sense? Mother Mary gives us some clues: we must work on the subconscious selves that react to the external conditions in the world.

By 'we', I mean the 'conscious you', because the outer personality cannot achieve neutrality; it can only react to the outside world.  However, the 'conscious you', as pure awareness of the 'I am' presence, is neutral by nature.

However, it cannot remain immovable towards what happens in the world when it sees the world through the filter of the subconscious selves, identifying with them.

As Mother Mary reminded us, we spiritual students have all overcome a number of our subconscious selves. However, if we still feel great discomfort at the world's turbulence, we need to use the tools given to us by our Masters to get rid of them.

These selves resist the flow of light from above — from the spiritual realm, our I Am Presence, and the Masters.

Those focused on the ‘outside’ only see ‘problems’ and ‘shadows’, but the ‘conscious you’, as pure awareness, can see opportunities and light.

Therefore, if we want to make a difference in this turbulent world, it is necessary to shift our focus from the outer self to our spiritual identity.

The Dhyani Buddhas and the Flow of Spiritual Light

Mother Mary says, «The Dhyani Buddhas are involved in this flow of light. They are in the nexus of the figure-of-eight flow, purifying the energies that flow from east to west.»[3]

They are at the centre of this nexus in the vertical direction, from above to below. However, our task as spiritual students is to also be in that nexus, at the centre, acting as open doors through which the light can spread horizontally to all life on Earth.

According to Mother Mary, 'The most important task for us for the remainder of the 12-year cycle is to remain in the centre and allow the light to flow through us».[4]

But for this to be possible we must solve the subconscious selves that pulls us towards the outside turbulence of the world and are constantly reacting to it.

When we allow this to happen, the light flowing through us dims, affecting our energy field and chakras.

There are external forces ready to steal our spiritual light when it is lowered to a certain point.

Until we reach a certain stage in our spiritual development, as Mother Mary reminds us, we can ask the Archangel Michael and other masters to help us close our aura.

However, after passing the 96th initiation, we cannot do that; otherwise, as Mother Mary tells us, we will be 'burying our talents'.

As spiritual students, we need to become open doors and give service:

The light flowing through us does not belong to us; it is flowing through us only to spread throughout the world of form, and it is our responsibility to ensure that it flows pure and at the highest possible vibration on Earth.

We will be able to do this when we attain a certain level of consciousness, as Masters Portia and Kuan Yin reminded us at this conference, we become «harmless towards all life»:

We do not hate, seek division, blame or judge anyone; we become open doors for the Christ, the unifier on Earth who connects all life.

We become the open doors to unconditional love for all beings and life on this planet.

In the figure of eight, we are connected to our Masters and our I Am Presence. We are immovable and centred, allowing this flow of unconditional love to enlighten our world.
