In this article I am writing about beings the Christ in everyday life in the aquarian age. I am following the teachings of Mother Mary in a book based on a conference held in 2025.[1].
Being the Living Christ in Everyday Life in the Aquarian Age
Mother Mary says: « Even fewer have been able to manifest, to attain, that [higher] state of consciousness while living a normal, active life. As we have explained, this is indeed the challenge of the Aquarian Age»[2]
This is challenging because, during the last 2,000 years of the Piscean Age, spiritual seekers isolated themselves from the world, creating a clear distinction between the 'spiritual' and the 'material'.
A spiritual way of life implied withdrawing from normal life in order to dedicate oneself completely to spiritual activities. Therefore, a spiritual person separated themselves from the 'mundane activities' of everyday life.
However, as the Masters have been teaching us for several years, this is not the paradigm for living a spiritual life in the Aquarian Age.
In this new era, we need to understand that every activity we perform can be experienced as a spiritual activity; there is no need to separate everyday life from spiritual life.
The reason is simple: we came to Earth a long time ago to experiment with freedom, to live any experience we wanted, and to learn from it.
Christhood is a Gradual Process
Every activity has the potential to help us grow. The Earth is an environment designed to help self-aware beings grow in awareness.
Every experience, whether professional or social, can help us grow. As our Masters have said, entering duality and falling can help us grow if we return to oneness and learn from the experience.
Moreover, every time we learn from our experiences, we develop the 'wisdom of the mother', the omega aspect of Christ consciousness, which is of the utmost importance.
The Masters have told us that learning from experience is what can help any spiritual being become a creator when they attain that level and choose to do so.
Our Creator learnt what works and what doesn't in the world of form by incarnating in a material universe, just as we have.
As co-creators on Earth, we are part of the body of God, the feminine aspect of God.
As long as we are connected to the Christ Mind, the work we do on Earth - raising our consciousness and helping to raise the collective consciousness - can also help the planet to reach a critical point at which it will ascend too.
Christ consciousness does not develop instantaneously in us. Mother Mary says, 'It will happen gradually as you nourish the baby Christ and allow it to mature until it is ready to appear to the world and express itself through you.'
Why? Mother Mary answers: « Because as you watch the Christ child grow within you, you decrease the distance between you and the Christ. You grow with it»[3].
The Christ that we incarnate on Earth is not the universal Christ, who is unaware of what happens on Earth; it is the Omega aspect of Christ.
I also recall the words of Master Jesus in his book [4]: « Both the Ma-ter light and the self-aware extensions of the Creator form the Divine Feminine or the Mother aspect of God.»
When we connect with the Christ mind, we experience a sense of oneness with the rest of life. This is visible to others and can resonate with their own spiritual identity, making a difference in their hearts.
Our purpose on earth is not to develop a special identity that only a few can attain; rather, we are here to demonstrate the teachings of Master Jesus from 2000 years ago:
'What one can do, all can do'. We are the pioneers, showing that there is an alternative to dualistic consciousness and selfishness, and demonstrating that we can live together in cooperation, democracy and peace.
We don’t see ourselves as separate beings, nor are we trying to attain special status.
We are one with all other beings, demonstrating the consciousness that can manifest the fullness of Master St Germain's vision for the Golden Age and that of all our Masters.
Being the Living Christ in the Aquarian Age means nurturing the baby Christ within each of us so that it can develop in union with a community of free beings who live as equals in the eyes of God.
