A Deeper Meaning for Being the Baby Christ on Earth

In this article, I explore the deeper meaning of being the baby Christ on Earth. I am following the teachings of Mother Mary[1].

The Baby Christ Incarnating on Us

The Masters taught us that the Christ can express itself at every level of consciousness possible on earth- otherwise a being fallen to the lower levels of consciousness could never return to the upward path.

However, it is only after the 96th initiation that we begin to embody true Christhood. But, as Mother Mary says, we begin to express the baby Christ, rather than the fullness of Christhood.

Why? Well, as Master Jesus expressed it, 'Christhood' is 'self-transcendence', and this is a gradual process that occurs over time, not instantaneously.

Conversely, a person at the 96th level of consciousness - or at any level on Earth -does not have access to an ultimate level of consciousness. To be honest, all possible levels of consciousness on Earth are limited.

We will always be in the process of self-transcendence until the moment we leave Earth behind for our ascension.

As Mother Mary reminds us, Master Jesus continued to transcend his illusions until the very end, when he let go of the 'last ghost' and ascended.

We are certainly not more advanced than Master Jesus was when he left Earth, so maybe the first step in our journey towards Christhood is acknowledging that we will never 'know everything' or attain an absolute state of consciousness on Earth.

As Mother Mary says, not even the Creator has attained a final state of consciousness; the Creator is also in a perpetual state of self-transcendence.

Now, with that in mind, we can begin to understand why Christ is always born to us as a baby. A major reason for this, besides Christ being this perpetual process of self-transcendence, is that when Christ is born within us, we still exhibit many characteristics of dualistic consciousness.

These expressions may be subtle and go unacknowledged, as when we identify with the 'good person' who is on earth to do good, help the world and manifest the 'golden age', and so forth.

We are still in duality because we identify with the 'good' side of reality and exclude the 'evil' side, including bad people.

There is a lot of work to be done until we can approach life on earth with true neutrality.

However, as we know, Christ is always neutral; it never makes value judgements or decides that one experience is good and another is bad.

Until we purge our material bodies of all dualistic beliefs, ideas and judgement values, we can only be the 'baby Christ', learning to let go of these beliefs and the selves created from them one by one.

This does not happen all at once, but gradually. However, from the 96th level onwards, we can connect to the baby Christ in each experience we have on Earth and see the illusion beyond the belief.

This enables us to let go of the illusion and move forward. In this process, we learn to listen to the Christ within us and grow in our understanding of it. In doing so, we simultaneously help the Christ within us to grow.

You see, the Christ that grows through each of us is an individualised expression of Christ, and what grows in the process is the Omega aspect of Christ, developing the 'wisdom of the Mother'.

This wisdom is invaluable in helping new co-creators understand how the physical world works. The Masters have said that we are all 'creators in the making'. Our Creator also began life in the world of form.

It was the experiences that the Creator had in the world of form that developed the ability to know from experience how a world of form works. Without this experience, the Creator could not design the world of form to function properly.

This knowledge can only be given by the Omega aspect of Christ. This knowledge is of the utmost importance to us, helping us to make better, more constructive choices and decisions in our everyday life.

Neither we nor the Christ knows everything at any stage of our life in the material realm. However, the purpose of Christ consciousness is not to provide us with the ability to make 'infallible choices' at any stage of our spiritual growth.

The purpose of Christ is to help us connect with life as a whole and, at any stage, choose options that can help us – meaning myself and all life – to grow and transcend ourselves.

Christ is life, and life never stands still. Therefore, one of the primary lessons we must learn from Christ consciousness is that we are always 'on the way'; we never reach a definitive state of consciousness.
