The Riddle of Freedom and Love

In this article I am going to comment about the riddle of freedom and love (unconditional love). I will remember Master Sant Kumara’s teaching in a conference.[1]

At this conference, we learned, from Master Sanat Kumara’s discourse that alongside Master Sanat Kumara   and Lady Master Nada came Not only did 144,000 avatars come to Earth from Venus, but millions of beings came from many other planets, including some outside our solar system.

All these beings came to Earth for similar reasons: either their 'I Am Presence' was not ready to ascend, or their 'conscious you' was not ready and 'fell'.

Some of the ‘avatars’ who came to Earth had attained a high level of consciousness on their home planets, but could not ascend because their ‘I am Presence’ was not ready.

« If they had reached the highest point of development on their home planet, why didn't they ascend? The answer is that the I Am Presence was not ready to ascend because there was something it had not yet resolved.»[2]

And what was not resolved by the I am Presence of many avatars was the 'riddle of Freedom'.

The 'riddle of Freedom' was not resolved by the I am Presence of many avatars.

The same may also be true of many 'fallen beings', who wanted to experiment with duality consciousness and became lost in separation.

In both cases, the duality consciousness was an attractive experience, but it came at a high cost: when a being enters the separate mind, it loses contact with the 'I am' presence and the love it radiates.

The riddle of freedom only exists for those who cannot fathom unconditional love.

The interruption of the love streaming from the Presence resulted in a feeling of abandonment and rejection, but also of resentment, especially if a being ‘falls’ without even noticing what is happening.

When someone enters in duality, their vibrational frequency in their energy field drops instantly.

In this state of mind — the separate mind — we find judgement, values, comparisons and dualistic definitions of everything.

In this state of mind, the question 'Why does the Creator allow "evil" on Earth? Why doesn't He punish evil and reward "good deeds"?' seems plausible.

The problem with these statements is that they completely ignore the unconditional love on which all creation is based. In the mind of Christ, there can be no distinction between 'good' and 'evil', because if there were, our Creator would be incapable of unconditional love.

The establishment of rules of comparison - good and evil, punishment and reward - only makes sense in a dualistic mindset because they impose limitations on what we can or cannot do.

In the origin of creation, however, we find unconditional love. This means that there are no conditions that determine what we can or cannot do or choose in the world of form.

Either the Creator created the world with unconditional love and granted freedom to all self-aware beings, or the Creator existed in a state of duality and experienced conditional love towards its creations. 'I love you if...' 'I love you if you respect my conditions,' 'I love you if you obey my rules and laws,' and so on.

This is the image of God that we find in the Old Testament: an angry and vengeful deity, ever ready to seek punishment, revenge and retribution.

But is this the Creator described by the Masters? No, the Creator described by the Masters is not a dualistic being who chooses some and condemns others. The Creator loves all of His created beings unconditionally, even those who rebelled against Its laws long ago.

But then, the only law compatible with divine unconditional love is Freedom. Freedom is a consequence of unconditional love, whereby the Creator enables created beings to choose who they want to be.

Of course, these choices must be made within the general laws of creation defined by the Creator. But why? By mere imposition? Or is it because the Creator is the only being with the necessary level of consciousness to define laws for a world that functions in perfect harmony?

Creation is not a single being’s action, as we know:  it is a synchronised work through several created spheres, united in the Christ mind through unconditional love and harmonic unity.

This harmony is expressed throughout the universe as the 'music of the spheres', as it was called by the ancients, and as the current of unconditional love that mystics feel permeating the entire universe and flowing through the divine presence in each of us.

Humanity may fail to see and feel this, because chose to enter duality long ago.

When human beings view themselves through the lens of dualistic consciousness, life can become a struggle filled with suffering. The mind, now focused on external conditions, sees this suffering as some kind of undeserved punishment from God.

This can only change if the 'conscious you' steps outside the external self and reconnects with Christ Consciousness and the 'I am' presence.

However, this requires an act of will to transform our beliefs and overcome the selves created in duality.
