Overcoming the Self that Feels Powerless

In this article I am discussing the self that feels powerless in relation to world events. The first point I want to make is that this sense of powerlessness is a product of dualistic consciousness.
Tue Duality Consciousness Only Reacts to the ‘Outside’
As the Masters have told us, duality consciousness is a consequence of choosing to enter into separation.
Whatever the reason for this event, it had the immediate effect of disconnecting us from our spiritual source — the I Am Presence — and giving rise to a new sense of self as a separate being.
This is permitted by the law of free will on Earth, where we came to experiment with freedom. However, it has also had many undesirable consequences: we have begun to feel threatened by external conditions, one example being the attacks perpetrated by fallen beings.
I will expand on this in another post, but for now, I will say that the many disagreeable and painful experiences we have had in our many lifetimes have led us to create a self that feels powerless to change anything on Earth.
This sense of self that feels despair when something happens in the world that it feels 'should not happen', and that 'God and the Masters should not allow this to happen', has generated a beast in the collective consciousness that arises whenever we witness events like those happening on Earth right now.
All the frustration, anger and despair accumulated from similar situations we have faced in the past arise in our consciousness, bringing that old self to the surface and causing us to suffer.
While this is humanely understandable, we must also remember that, although it is hard, we are more than just 'human' beings; we are spiritual beings.
This can make all the difference. You see, we were in duality when we created this self a long time ago. But we have already travelled a long way, and we know that Earth and everything that happens on it is not absolute reality.
Earth is a learning environment, and we came here for a time - not forever! - to experiment with freedom. We must strive to see what is happening on Earth through the eyes of our 'conscious you', the localised awareness of our 'I am' presence on Earth.
The ‘Conscious you’ does not Feel Suffering
Our spiritual identity came to earth, but it was created in the spiritual realm: it is on earth but does not belong to earth. And it is true that the conscious you, when identified with the self that that feels powerless, can only see through the perception filter of that self.
However, at any time, the 'conscious you' can step outside of that self and recognise its unreality. You can then connect to the one mind of Christ and see the events happening on Earth as opportunities for everyone to look beyond appearances.
When the outer self feels powerless, focusing only on the outside and being unable to change external events, it experiences suffering and negative emotions that lower our consciousness. However, the 'conscious you' sees an opportunity to look inside and ask, 'What can I change?'
We have no power or authority to change the external events, because they are the result of other people’s choices.
However, what we can do is to change our consciousness: we can see this self that is causing suffering, inadequacy and frustration and say to it: «I see your unreality and you are not me and I am not you. I am choosing to let you die. »
First and foremost, this will have a tremendous effect on ourselves: instead of feeling that we don’t want to stay on this planet, we will experience complete peace and acceptance of what is happening.
We can also participate in events such as Mother Mary's vigil[1] and other initiatives, And let to the Masters and the Creator’s laws the solution for what can’t be solved by us.
